CLF Prayer Ministry

PRAYER MINISTRY

Prayer and the Ministry of Prayer have been a building block of our church for many years and continue to be the heartbeat of CLF. The Prayer Ministry is a group of people who enjoy the spiritual practice of standing in the gap through prayer in response to the needs of the church body and our local community. Those who join the Prayer Ministry serve on one or more special teams listed below.

PRAYER MINISTRY TEAMS

SUNDAY PRE- SERVICE PRAYER

Preparation

The Pre-service Team gathers on Sunday mornings before the services to prepare the spaces and hearts to welcome the Lord’s presence, the Truth of His Word, and the Power of His Spirit.

SUNDAY ALTAR PRAYER

Compassion and Care

The Altar Ministry Team serves during and after services and prays for those who come forward requesting personal prayer. This is an opportunity to receive physical healing and encouragement in a current situation.

PLACE OF HOPE

Breakthrough

Place of Hope (POH) is a private and confidential prayer session with two prayer team members. This environment is for anyone struggling to overcome in an area. Place of Hope is hosted one Saturday per month and by appointment through registrations on the website.

PRAYER GROUPS (WEEKLY)

Specific

Join a group led by a Team Leader to offer unified prayers to protect and cover the CLF Ministry, as well as lift individual prayer requests from the CLF church families. Groups meet at different times during the week.

Join a group of men with our Lead Pastor, David Comer, every Wednesday at 6:18 AM at the Youth Center.

▷ Women Prayer

Join a group of women every Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the CLF Lobby.

MISSIONAL PRAYER

Specialized

The Missional Prayer Team prays at special events in the community.

▷ Drive Thru Prayer

Events held on a vacant lots on busy streets during rush hour to offer personal prayer ministry to cars that pull over.
