GOD LOVES A CHEERFUL GIVER!
Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

Why We Give

We give because God is a giver. His nature, revealed throughout Scripture, is one of generosity. And since we’re made in His image, we reflect Him most when we give and faithfully manage what He’s placed in our hands. Giving allows us to step into His purpose—becoming the hands and feet of Jesus in our community and beyond.

Tithing

TRUST GOD WITH YOUR FINANCES

Tithing is a biblical principle that means giving one-tenth. This first tenth is sacred—it belongs to God and is set apart for Him. When we return the tithe to God, we’re expressing our trust in Him and recognizing that everything good in our lives comes from Him. At its core, tithing is more about faith than finances. It’s not about what God wants from us, but what He wants for us.

In Malachi 3:10, God invites us to put this principle to the test. When we give Him our first and best, He promises to bless the rest—so we can, in turn, be a blessing to others.

Scripture reminds us that God so loved the world that He gave—generosity is at the heart of who He is.

While the tithe is an act of obedience, offerings go a step further—they reflect a heart transformed by God’s generosity. We believe that giving beyond the tithe carries a divine purpose, which is why we encourage our church family to participate in special opportunities to give throughout the year.
