Lee County Human & Veteran Services has assistance programs available to many Lee County residents. Our assistance programs are available in three broad categories: Financial Assistance, Homeless Assistance, and Veteran Assistance.

PACE - SENIOR HOME CARE

Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) is a Medicare and Medicaid program that helps people meet their health care needs in the community instead of going to a nursing home or other care facility.

If you join PACE, a team of health care professionals will work with you to help coordinate your care.

SNAP PROGRAM

The United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), called food assistance in Florida and formerly known as the Food Stamp Program, provides food benefits, access to a healthy diet, and education on food preparation and nutrition to low-income households. Recipients spend their benefits (provided on an electronic card that is used like an ATM card) to buy eligible food in authorized retail food stores.

REMEDY LIVE
