VOX Conference 2020

A gathering of youth and young adults with a passionate hunger for truth and a genuine move of God. Boldly reminding a generation WHO they’re living for and how to discover their greatest purpose in life.

It’s more than a conference. It’s more than a moment. It’s a call to live in passionate pursuit of Jesus inside the church while being boldly equipped to go out INTO THE WORLd.

Jonah Sorrentino /A.K.A. kj-52

The product of a broken home in a rough suburb of Tampa, Florida, Jonah Sorrentino was born again at the age of 15 when a family member challenged the wayward teenager and fledgling rapper to take up Christ. Pouring his faith into music, Sorrentino changed his performing name: “KJ” was an abbreviation of a previous alias, while “52,” pronounced “five-two,” referred to the Bible story in which Jesus fed a multitude with five loaves of bread and two fish.  After securing a record deal in 1999 and transitioning to full-time music, he spent the next twenty years accumulating accolades such as 6 Dove Awards and a Guinness World Record in freestyling.  He is the proud father of Jacob, Isaiah and James and husband to his first love Christa of 21 years and has recently come on staff at Christian Life Center as Go Team Director and Associate Pastor.

Gabriel Zamora

… comes from a background of gangs, violence and poverty and felt called into the ministry at the age of thirteen. He graduated from CFNI (Christ for the Nations Institute) with a degree in Pastoral Ministry and now focuses on building next-generation leaders and bridges the gaps between every facet of church life and ministry. He has been married for 10 years to his best friend, Domonique, and is a father to his 3 kids, Gabriel Joel, Judah and Eliza. He has served a youth pastor in New City, NY and Fort Myers, FL, but now serves with City to City LA speaking around the world to both youth and adult crowds, having done ministry in 23 countries across 4 continents.
